Looking for a unique experience? Want to discover the riches of the Republic of Korea ?
At the tip of the Korean peninsula, a land of mystery awaits you.
You won’t be disappointed by the charm and authenticity of this country.
Discovering new horizons, South Korea, well known for its cinematographic productions, martial arts and gastronomy, presents an art of living unknown to young Westerners.
In this move towards a new experience, the PVT (Permis Vacances Travail) or WHV (Working Holiday Visa) allows you to obtain a visa easily.
How do I obtain a WHP in South Korea?
Applying for a permit is free of charge, and must be done in person at the Paris consulate or consular office, once only.
A number of conditions must be met to obtain it:
- The primary purpose of your stay must be to travel, and you’ll need to prove this with a travel plan and a cover letter. A job search should be secondary and serve only to finance your desire to discover new things.
- You must be between 18 and 30 years of age at the time of your WHP application.
- you must be resident in France at the time of application.
- Your French passport must be valid for at least one year or more, to allow for future travel to Asia or Europe.
- An extract from your criminal record must be provided, as no criminal record is required to enter South Korea.
- In addition, you’ll need to have the necessary funds to support yourself (bank statement), valued at 2,500 euros, plus your plane tickets, or proof that you have enough money to buy them, valued at 1,000 euros.
Lastly, you must be in good health, as attested by an insurance certificate that you will send with your WHP application.
