The Red Center

In the heart of Australia, it’s a place with 3 must-see sites: Uluru, King’s Canyon and the Olgas, also known as Kata Tjuta.
Uluru is the most famous site, an immense rock that is the symbol of the country. Its distinctive feature is that it changes color during the day, depending on the light. When the sun sets, you’ll be able to appreciate its intense red color.
A trip to the Red Center is not complete without a visit to King’s Canyon. Its walls are a dizzying 100 metres high and red. You’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the protected national park.
The Olgas is a collection of 36 red rock domes stretching over 30km², between which you can wander and observe the incredible Australian desert environment.

Sydney

If you can only visit one city, go to Sydney. There are many beautiful things to see. Stroll around Circular Quay, go to the Botanical Gardens, the Sea Life Aquarium, do the Bondi Beach Walk, then spend half a day in The Rocks. If you don’t have any specific dates in mind, go for New Year’s Eve – it’s fantastic! And don’t forget the world-famous Opera House!

The Blue Mountains

An hour’s drive from Sydney is the 240,000-hectare Blue Mountains National Park. It’s well worth the hour’s drive. Known for its magnificent scenery. Canyoning is also possible.

The Great Barrier Reef

Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is one of Australia’s three best-known tourist attractions. (Uluru and the Sydney Opera House). It is home to a wide variety of fish and coral. It’s also the largest reef on the planet.
Next door, there’s another superb place, the Whitsundays, where you’ll find some magnificent islands. This archipelago, comprising 74 islands scattered along the coast, is famous for its turquoise waters and streaks.
There’s also a lesser-known equivalent of the Great Barrier Reef, called Ningaloo Reef. Located on the west coast, it’s best known for the whale sharks that come every year, but you can also see manta rays, etc. Don’t hesitate to visit the West Coast, which is much wilder and less touristy, with its sublime national parks.

Queensland’s rainforest

If you want to see crocodiles, this is the place! This forest is also home to a large number of animals, so keep your eyes wide open!

Lake Mac Kenzy on Fraser Island

It’s the world’s largest sand island, with a lake of white sand and perfect blue water.

The Top End

Visit Kakadu and Litchfield National Parks. Kakadu is the country’s largest national park, about 200 km southeast of Darwin. You’ll be able to see crocodiles in the wild – it’s very impressive.

The Great Ocean Road

Do you like Road Trips? This is for you! It’s one of the most beautiful roads in the world, stretching 250 km along Victoria’s southern coast, with breathtaking panoramas and numerous beaches.

Tasmania

Often overlooked by travelers, Tasmania offers magnificent scenery, especially Cradle Mountain and Wineglass Bay. More than a third of the territory is classified as nature reserves, national parks and Unesco World Heritage sites. Brave hikers won’t want to miss one of the world’s most beautiful walks: the Overland Track.

Melbourne

Australia’s second-largest metropolitan area after Sydney, Melbourne is a city of culture. Numerous cultural events and shows are frequently organized every year. It’s also the capital of sport, and a very cosmopolitan city with a distinctive atmosphere in every district.
