What are actual expenses?

Visit actual expenses correspond to the sums incurred by an individual for his or her health expenses. A portion of actual expenses may be reimbursed by the compulsory health insurance plan, and a portion may be covered by the complementary health care. The portion reimbursed by the latter depends on the level of cover. The amount of the two reimbursements cannot expenses incurred.

Insurance companies often reimburse you on the basis of the Sécurité Sociale reimbursement rate.
